Summary

  • JOB SUMMARY
    • Responsible for processing of linen from soiled to clean and maintaining responsibility of daily recording of work being done, and keeping work area clean and tidy and have safe work methods.

    • Knowledge of work methods and equipment; knowledge of safety procedures and safe work methods; ability to get along well with other employees and in organizing work responsibilities efficiently; ability to understand and interpret oral and written instructions; to keep basic records, to maintain a neat and clean personal appearance.

      READING - Basic: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
    • WRITING - Basic: Ability to write simple correspondence.
    • SPEAKING - Basic: Ability to speak simple sentences.
    • MATHEMATICAL SKILLS - Basic Skills: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
